“My memory is that the traffic used to still come through here it never really went through Warrawong.  Because of that bridge, the main traffic going south would come through here. When they built the inner harbor, they just chopped the bridge out and everything went around it. And that was one of the reasons why Port Kembla declined.  Warrawong killed Port Kembla basically. ”
