Cleaned up all the opposition

“Our billy cart was quite unique in the early days of billy carting – that was the early 40s – in that it was the only fully-enclosed billy cart. Most of the carts were more basic. The only one who ever drove it out of us three boys was my second brother John. But it was quite a speedy machine and just about cleaned up all the opposition. My dad ended up selling it and it went to Noumea, would you believe?”
